The freighter Onondaga, sunk in 1918.
The passenger liner Metis, sunk in 1872 with great loss of life.
The Heroine, built in 1898 as a steel-hulled fishing vessel, and sunk in 1920.
The steam powered tug Mary Arnold was a towing a lighter when she sank for no apparent reason.
