About the Authors

Darren Douglass's photographs and articles have appeared in diving, photography, and travel magazines in the United States and abroad. He has been a scuba instructor for over twelve years and specializes in teaching underwater photography and shipwreck diving. His first book, published in 1990, chronicles California's shipwrecks.

Stacey Douglass has been diving for over eight years and has co-authored numerous magazine articles with Darren Douglass. While she is an accomplished photographer herself, she often serves as a photographer's model both above and beneath the sea. She is also the author of several children's stories.
